ctbarker32
Hi, I have noticed that after running Retrospect Express under Vista that it puts my DVD drive (Optiac Sony/NEC) into 1x read mode that then affects all future reads of the drive even when I have exited Retropspect. I can recreate this repeatedly. I find I have to run a program like Exact Audio Copy to restore the drive to full speed read mode. Could this be fixed? Thanks. -CB
Mayoff
is this Express or Express HD?
ctbarker32
Its Express with all the latest updates. Also, could you seriously directly support the Optiarc drives from Sony/NEC. It's been about two years and its a pain to have to teach Retropsect to work with different media which then compromises the backup speed when switching between single layer and dual layer DVDS. Thanks. -CB
Mayoff
You can ignore the drive inside Retrospect from Configure>Devices>Environment. Then click Ignore for the Sony/NEC. Retrospect will stop loading a driver for the drive.
