birdog63 Posted July 31, 2008 Report Share Posted July 31, 2008 I recently switched backup devices from a 110GB external drive to a 1TB external drive. Now when I run the backup script the program gets part through the backup process and then shuts down giving the message that the equipment failure. When I try to restart the script the program again shuts down very quickly before beginning the sequence. I did a catalog repair and get the same results. If I create a new backup script the program seems to run for awhile and then the blue screen of death appears and there is a memory dump and the computer restarts. The program has generated .utx file that is sent to EMC but I don't know how to correct the problem. Does anyone have any ideas? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
