Cannot access restore points

Hi there. I've been having a bit of a problem accessing the 'Restore' function in Retrospect Express HD and was hoping someone could help me out.

 

I have a WD MyBook (1 TB) that is hooked up through the network. I am running Reprospect Express HD v2.0.146. EDIT - Running Windows XP Pro SP2.

 

Recently I was obliged to restore a few files from backups about a week old. This went fine. However, now that I have to do so again (different files this time) Retrospect won't launch the Restore dialog. I get an error message stating "Retrospect Express needs to perform a maintence operation before it can show the restore points."

 

I have twice tried deleting the RBC file and allowing it to run backup maintence, and have also tried deleting and reinstalling the Retrospect software, as well as rebooting both the external HD and my computer.

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
