jackkeogh
I seem to have the same problem- how do you back up to the root of the drive? Thanks
Mayoff
You need to be much more specific. What exactly is this "same problem error" you mention? I have never heard of a "same problem error" in Retrospect, so I am a little confused. http://www.emcinsignia.com/video contains videos on how to perform backups with Retrospect. MRIS
Retrospect Disk Based Backup Sets will always create a folder on the disk named "Retrospect" and then make a subfolder based on the name of the backup set, then another subfolder within that based on the member name. There's good reasons for all of this. For example did you know that FAT32 drives can't have more than 256 files in the root folder?
