jackkeogh Posted June 24, 2008 Report Share Posted June 24, 2008 Everything seems fine with Maxtor One Touch and Express 1.1.127 - no error messages and 44 restore points. However, when I use Explorer to view back up files, recent word files are missing. Also, the search box on Express does not seem to work. Suggestions requested. When I go through the "restore" function I cannot seem to identify individual files - I get a menu of "New Volume F", then a folder "RECYCLER" and files like "desktop.ini" and "INFO2". When I insert a file name in the search box, I can't make it work. How can I find a file? Or is there something else I should be doing? Thanks in advance! Mayoff Posted June 24, 2008 Report Share Posted June 24, 2008 If you are doing a backup of your C drive, then you should see a Restore Point for the C drive when you click restore.
