Enoxia
Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to make a backup on a distant Hard Drive (In a DataCenter) via FTP with retrospect (Windows) ? We would like to secure our data from an office to a distant DataCenter. Thank you for your help.
Mayoff
Windows version does not support FTP based connections.
MRIS
This may be true, but you do have the following options: a. Install Retrospect at the datacenter, and use it to connect back to your site and backup the clients this way. This way your backup files are at the data center. b. Assuming your backups occur to a disk based backup set, say, during "backup time", then you could schedule a script that simply uploads all the .RDB files (and maybe the catalog too for good measure) to the FTP server during "non backup time".
