wendytrow
Hi Robin, I could use your help. Starting recently, the following things happened when I tried to do a backup using Retrospect Express. 1. Program loaded 204 restore points on June 3 2. Clicked backup now 3. Backup began as usual BUT, very quickly the numbers of restore points kept increasing all the way to more than 500 at which point I stopped the backup. 4. When I then checked to see what the restore dates indicated, I was still showing the June 3 date as the most recent backup 5. Nothing had actually been backed up 6. Went through this process again and got up to over 650 restore points with the same result. I contacted support (reference #080612-001789) and followed instructions without any change to the problem, although I apparently was successful in the installation of 1.1.1. Can you please help me? Mayoff
You could have a corrupt .rbc file. Try to delete the .rbc file on the backup disk. Then re-open the Express HD UI. A catalog rebuild should then begin. it will take a few hours to finish.
