Kevin_
I'm using Retrospect to backup about 26 computers. About a week ago we had some software issues, and our scripts were lost. EMC Tech Support sort of helped, but we had to rebuilt our scripts and re-detect our clients. One of the computers that was on the network priour to the now-resolved software trouble is no longer detected. When the client is open on this computer, all the options and everything are greyed out. The radio button is stuck at "Off," and there's no obvious way to turn it to "On." We've tried a client reinstall etc., and nothing's worked so far. Help?
Mayoff
Did you try an uninstall and reinstall, not just a reinstall? What does the Client Status/history display?
Kevin_
The client isn't being recognized by our main computer, so there's no way of viewing information from that. In the client history, there is only record of the install. Also; we uninstalled, rebooted, installed, and rebooted. I'm thinking that doing the same in Safe Mode might be the next route we will take.
