removing files which are 30 days old from a backup

I would like to remove files which have a backup date of > 30 days from a backup set. Is there a way to transfer files which are > days old from one backup set to another?

 

 

 

I want to provide a backup service which stores files for 30 or 60 days... After 30 or 60 days, if the file doesnt exist on the client hard disk I no longer want to keep it in storage.

 

 

 

I think this is a simple concept, but I am finding it very difficult to impliment with retrospect server.

You cannot remove files from a Backup Set. You either have to erase the entire Backupset or append to the backupset.
