BGB
Hello, I cannot see a reference in compatible or incompatible lists for the above drive under OSX. I am sucessfully using it under 9.x and Retro 4.3 but would prefer to migrate backup to version 5.0 and over to our OSX server. Can anyone advise please. Thank you
lv2ski
This drive is not supported with Retrospect at this time. Dantz goes through a rigorous qualification process with every drive we test. This means that not every drive will be qualified and we can never guarantee that a particular device will be supported. For a list of the drives that are currently compatible with Retrospect software, please check our device compatibility guide at: www.dantz.com/hardware
BGB
Thank you Melissa, I will hang on as I am for now and see if things change in the near future. If at some time Dantz decide that they will NOT be supporting this drive will that information be posted on the site so that I can then decide to change devices rather than hang on indefinately? Kind regards Phil
lv2ski
I take this back. I just noticed something. This is a DVD RAM drive. We support ALL DVD RAM drives. I was thinking it was a CDRW drive. I am very sorry. Dantz supports ALL DVD RAM drives.
