tedkilroy
I am using Multi-Server 7.0.256 with an Exchange Agent to backup 1 Storage Group and 15 mailboxes. Backing up to an external Maxtor usb 250g HD. The Exchange Server "options" is set to full-backup. This is taking up a bit of space. The folder that contains these set are dated as far back as 11/xx/07. My questions is do I need to have these sets continually saved from last year? Are they required for today’s/tomorrows backup sets to be backed-up? Trying to come up with a better solution so that I don't have to replace external HD anytime soon. I am also looking to change daily Exchange backup from full to differential. Any answers would be appreciated.
Mayoff
If you perform a recycle backup, it will delete all prior backups, starting over and freeing up disk space for future backups.
