robek
Backing up Mac OS 9.2 computer remotely to Mac OS 9.1 computer running Retrospect 4.3. I had 5 volumes (2 hard disks) and the backup worked fine. One of the volumes was called xxxx. I added a new hard drive with 2 volumes and moved the content of xxxx to one of the new volumes, renaming the old one to something else and naming a new one xxxx. The problem is that client configuration in Retrospect lists xxxx twice. Of course, trying to do anything with the "ghost" volume produces errors. However, I can't seem to be able to get rid of the bogus entry. All other old and new volumes show as expected. And xxxx shows twice on the volume selection in the script editor even though I did select only the new one in the volume selection for this client. Any ideas? natew
Hi Selecting the "forget" item from the Retrospect volumes window should get rid of the extra entry. Otherwise you can try a new set of Retrospect preference files - that will start you off with a clean slate. Nate
