TheCompu Posted September 2, 2003 Report Share Posted September 2, 2003 Hi, My backups seem to work quite well, except I get an error everytime I run one: "The Index for <Hard Drive Name> was only partially created because the disk is full. The partial index is 319 megabytes." The only back up I am running is a backup of a large folder of several gigabytes to an external hard disk. What does this error mean? natew Posted September 3, 2003 Report Share Posted September 3, 2003 Hi Are you using your external hard drive with a "removable disk" backup set? If so you need to set up your backups differently.
