dkashevaroff
The new Mac G5's allow you to copy the entire user file and application folder to the new computer from your old one (saved hours of reinstalling software). Problem is that it copied the retrospect client, code and all, to the new G5. So now I have two Macs with the same activator code on them. I've used the uninstaller that came with the Client (v6xx) but when i reinstall, it still shows the conflict. I manually searched for anything "retro" and deleted, but still have the conflict. Does anyone know what file the activator code is stored in on a Mac? thanks Don
natew
Hi Run the client uninstaller and then reboot the machine. After that change the computer name slightly and try the client install again. Have you forgotten the old client from the client database on the Retrospect server side? Thanks Nate
