raypan
I am trying to restore my C drive from a computer that was strike by lightening. I backed up this entire drive (122gb) using Express 6.5 running XP onto an external hard drive which was not damaged by the lightening. When I use the restore function it seeks to find back up catalog sets or .rbc files. I have over 240 .rbd files on my external hard drive but apparently no .rbc files which is apparently what I need in order to access the back up files. Does any one have any suggestion regarding restoring from the .rbd files?
Mayoff
Have you tried a catalog rebuild?
raypan
Dear Mayoff, Thanks for your response. I have't tried a catalog rebuild but I would appreciate instructions on how to do so or if you can link me to where such instructions may be found.
