backup linux

Recommended Posts

I have retrospect workgroup 5 running on mac os x, and I would like to backup a folder of a linux redhat 7.2

I have exported this folder by nfs and mounted it on my mac.

I can browse the content of this folder from my mac, but I can't see it from retrospect.

Does retrospect can't see nfs mouted volumes?

Should I use netatalk ?

NFS shares have not been tested extensively with Retrospect. To back up any mounted volume, though, you'd need to follow the quirelines in the ReadMe, and either configure Retrospect to log in to the volume automatically, or log into the Finder as root.
