ccisf
I recently had to do a restore of the C:\ drive of one of my Windows client computers. The Retrospect Workgroup Server itself runs on a MacOS 9 machine. While the files were restored just fine, the directory structure was completely eradicated. I wound up with a folder full of thousands of files at the root level. Anyone know if this is normal? Is there a way to restore with the directory heirarchy intact? Thanks, David
lv2ski
Sounds like you did a Restore Just Files/Restore. When doing a restore, it makes a difference what option you choose under your destination. If you Choose Restore entire disk, or Restore Corresponding files (under your destination for restore) then it will restore your folder structure as you wish.
