tmd40165
We had been using Iomega Automatic Backup, but they no longer provide support or fixes for it, so we decided to upgrade to Retrospect Express per Iomega's recommendation. The Zip 750 drive is supposed to be "qualified" to work with Retrospect. I purchased the download and installed the software, but when I go to Configure, my Zip drive does not show up there. The only thing there is my CD drive. How can I get Retrospect to detect my Zip drive?
AmyJ
Insert a disk in the drive and then launch Retrospect.
BillWoodard
The answer may be in a 6/20/02 posting by tdushane. If, in the configure window, you see an ignored device, right-click on it, set it to don't ignore, and exit Retrospect (if you don't exit, nothing happens). Then restart Retrospect and the drive may appear.
Mayoff
Zip disks are not supposed to show in Configure Devices. You see Zip disks when you create a new disk backup set. You also see them in Configure Volumes.
