alanrh Posted November 7, 2006 Report Share Posted November 7, 2006 We recently updated our auto loader to an Overland ARCVault LTO-3 system. We have one G4 MDD system which has a larege (1.5) TB fibre channel array direct attached which gets backed up through a client over Gig-E. The system locks up durring the backup. We are getting wonderful throughput of 1,750 MB/Min backing up this way, but I'm afraid that the incresed speed is what is causing the workstation to crash.
