ua-it
I was doing some grooming on 5 backup sets when Retrospect crashed. Now when i try to goto the backup set i get error -2259 (incomplete grooming detected). What shoul i do to fix this?
nekr0phage
This can most likely be resolved by rebuilding the catalog file.
willflint
I have restarted the grooming and it usually gave me another error, but would start the groom over anyway. I am not an expert (yet!) but Retrospect 7.5 seems to have an issue with simultaneously grooming more than 2 or 3 Large backup sets (mine are usually 150GB to 500GB in size). Especially if they are all on the same RAID array, SAN Drawer or same Disk. So I recommend scheduling your grooms so that they are staggered and are not going at the same time. I can get 5 or 6 backup jobs going at the same time, but not that many groom jobs. Hope that helps.
