nekr0phage Posted October 25, 2006 Report Share Posted October 25, 2006 Hi, Compression is performed during the transfer, it is not a characteristic of the backup set (except for tape backup sets). If you choose to use software compression when transferring from one backup set to another, the result is that the data will be compressed in the destination backup set.
