Baalzamon Posted October 19, 2006 Report Share Posted October 19, 2006 I am trying to duplicate all the current backup tapes of my company due to poor backup planning and only no duplicates. So I used Transfer Backup Sets. One backup set is over 9 tapes which are 40GB each. However when I did the transfer it only did one tape only transferring 18GB of 40GB. Why is this happening when the nature of transferring backup sets is to transfer the entire set? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Does Retrospect say the transfer is complete or is there some error preventing it from transferring further? If the catalog file was created with 5.0 and has been appended to since then, you might try rebuilding the catalog file (saving the existing one) to see if there is a problem transferring from an antiquated/mixed catalog.
