gaultney3 Posted October 12, 2006 Report Share Posted October 12, 2006 I am a single user and recently upgraded my motherboard. I re-installed ver. 7.5.324 and Drivers and Hot Fix 7.5.6.105. When attempting to run the program I get an error message "Retrospect requires administrative privileges to backup." I am the administrator and have never seen any information in the set-up process to use a login and password as administrator. Futhermore, I can find nothing in the documentation to would suggest this error message. Any help is appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
nekr0phage Posted October 12, 2006 Report Share Posted October 12, 2006 Hi Jer, There may be something configured incorrectly with your user account. Try creating a different account and launching Retrospect with that. I believe Retrospect requires admin priveleges to install as well.
