lisa Posted September 28, 2006 Report Share Posted September 28, 2006 I have recently installed new DVDs on HP Compaq D500 CMT computers and the DVDs proved by HP (and include Retrospect 7) are HL-DT-ST DVDRRW GCA-4166b. However I can't find this on the EMC hardware compatibility and I am getting intermittent error message 105 unexpected end of data and nothing is backed up. Occasionally I have witness the DVD name come up under Device Status, then after successful backup, when I got to test again, I see 'no Device found' in the DVD status but under environment tab the model is listed. I have done a custom configuration to no avail. I am using Verbatim DVD +RW. Any help would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

However, you would need to have Retrospect 7.5 to get this update.
