jamphlett
when i set up an automatic script to run, i get a report that retrospect cannot see the clients even though when i go to clients and hit network they all respond fine. Then the program just quits. Even when i go in and change the date to run while i'm there watching it, it does find the clients and runs but again it quits after finishing. I don't want it to quit... any input? thanks in advance, John A
IrenaS
What operating system? What version of Retrospect? What is the error that you get? Do you see the clients in the Configure > Clients window?

IrenaS
Go to the client computers -- is the client on? Try forgetting a client from the client database and re-adding. Can you do an immediate backup?
jamphlett
yes, the client is on and i can do an immediate backup or i can merely change the date from tomorrow for the next scheduled run and change it to today's date and it will auto run... very weird
