psw3305 Posted August 3, 2003 Report Share Posted August 3, 2003 I recently installed Retro workgroup 5.0 Win on a new Pc running WinXP Pro. When I try to configure a CD-RW drive ( HP CD-Writer Plus 8200) for backups, it scans for devices & sees nothing in the configure menu. I can see the drive in Explorer & under the device manager (XP). Any suggestions on how to get it seen so I can use it ?? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
natew Posted August 4, 2003 Report Share Posted August 4, 2003 Hi, Retrospect 5.0 is not compatible with Windows XP and is most likely not compatible with your backup device. An upgrade to Retrospect 6.5 is your best bet. I suspect you will be happy with all of the improvements that have been made too.
