BikeBoy Posted April 1, 2003 Report Share Posted April 1, 2003 Hi, I'm assuming File Sharing on Windows 2000 Pro has nothing to do with Retrospect being able to backup/restore files, but just want to make sure. I have a workgroup with MAC OS X being the backup server, and a mix of Windows + Mac machines as clients, and so I'm correct to assume that if I disable Server service on PCs, I'll still be able to back them up? Mayoff Posted April 1, 2003 Report Share Posted April 1, 2003 The Workgroup version comes with a Control Panel called a Retrospect Client.
