My plan is to replace the harddrive and then do a full restore of the old system. However, the article below seems to indicate that there are problems encountered when doing a restore to a new harddrive. http://www.dantz.com/index.php3?SCREEN=knowledgebase_article&id=531 How exactly do I deal with this? We are just saying there is a chance that the registry will not like the new hardware and we wont be able to do the complete restore so that the drive boots.
