Felix
Hi all, I have installed a Workgroup Client on a working windows 2000 network. The computers are connected via Hub. Noton Internet security is running. The software can`t find this client. Ping is working. Now, how can I configure the port adress 479 for Retrospect Workgroup in my windows system. Thanks Felix
Mayoff
Actually, Retrospect uses port 497 not

AmyJ
Ports are opened and closed via your firewire or router. There is no built-in firewall utility in Windows 2000. If you are using a firewall or router, you will need to consult your documentation for the firewall or router on how to open Port 497. In your case, you will need to check the Norton Internet Security documentation on opening specific ports.
