Goose
I am installing the client to 2000 pro. The person using the computer is not an administrator. So It wont allow me to install the client. When I install the Client as Admin of the computer, then log back in as a user, everything in Retro is grayed out. What do the Users need to be at a min. for the client to install and run. Note: I do not want the users of this pc to be admins.
lv2ski
Any possibility the person with administrator rights is also a member of another group (i.e. users, guests, power users)? You only need to have admin rights to install the client. If everything is grayed out it's likely the Retrspect client service just isn't running. (It grays out the client in this case). You can open up/edit the Retro client service and set which account the client logs in as and make sure under the 'Log On tab the 'allow service to interact with desktop' is checked and so on.
