abasoul
This is the error that I get. There are two disks named Drive C that are indistinguishable from each other. One of these should be renamed so that this program (and people) are note confused. I have multiple HD's in my NT 4. Has anyone seen this problem? Appreciate any input via e-mail or post. lv2ski
Retrospect will sometimes have trouble identifying volumes with an identical serial numbers and volumes labels. First give each volume it's own drive label. Then change the serial number. The utility to do this is called 'VolumeID' and can be found at: http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/source/misc.shtml#VolumeId
abasoul
Downloaded the utility and it worked great. Thanks. I have always done all my Volume labeling and drive letter assignment on NT Disk Administrator. I guess that's why there's VolumeID by Sysinternals. Thanks again for the tip.
