sgreen
Getting the following error: Trouble writing: "P4 Backup" (2147420672), error -102 (trouble communicating) 5/19/2002 10:02:38 AM: Execution incomplete Remaining: 5223 files, 3.1 GB Completed: 1716 files, 2.0 GB Performance: 240.2 MB/minute Duration: 00:08:36 (00:00:05 idle/loading/preparing) Trying to use Retrospect to backup to a Linux Server. It seems that Retrospect is viewing the Linux Server as a Windows FAT32 or FAT, and stopping at 2GB. When in fact the server is configured for Windows (CIFS). Macintosh (AppleShare), and Unix (NFS) Files Manager. Did the same script to a local drive on my XP Pro, no problem. It backed up all 5 GB. Clearly it is Retrospect setting the limit. Any workarounds? Thanks - Steve

lv2ski
Right! And we do not have a client for Linux yet! But we are working on one. This will help you backup to this machine or backup this machine!
