Donte
Does anyone know how to restore a backup of selected directories and files to their original location without restoring to another location first. When I used the Restore Entire Disk and select only a few directories it deleted my other folders and only restored the selected files. Restore file from backup forces me to select a folder other than the original folder and I must copy from there to the orginal. Is there a way to restore selected files and folders directly to theeir originallocation without harms other folders?
lv2ski
Click Restore. Choose Restore Entire Disk. Then for your destination you want to use Restore Corresponding Files. This will do exactly as you want.
