mmelis
Have been using Desktop to back up my NT system to both a second local har drive on my system and a remote shared hard drive on another NT machine attached to the network. I have two scripts set up to back up every other day to each of the disks. (alternating days for each disk) The local script runs flawlessly but the remote backup always fails stating that it cannot find the drive. If I invoke the script manually, Retrospect finds the remote drive just fine and the backup works. Running the script in the background it never finds the drive. I am perplexed by this one. Any ideas or similar experiences out there? m
lv2ski
If you go to Configure/Backupsets you can click on your backupset and go to properties. Under there you can set your backupset to auto-login to the network drive that it is being saved to. This should help your issue.
