V. 5.6 & Que! M2 drive

I have Windows XP Pro, and Que!M2 20G external storage drive. Computer memory is 256MB.

 

 

 

I just upgraded from 5.15 to 5.6 (desktop)

 

 

 

Problem:

 

When I exit Restrospect, it goes to work on my Que!M2 to death. Restrospect would spin the drive until it got write error and disconnect (the light on the drive is red continuously). This

 

problem happens every time I exit Restrospect, so it's really bad.

 

I called Que!M2 tech support and they said it's Restrospect problem. Que!M2 is compatible with XP Pro, and it did not have this problem in Restrospect 5.15.

 

 

 

What's the cause of this problem? What's the solution for this problem?

Try disabling "system restore" from System Properties for "all drives". (This tab can be found by right clicking on my computer and going to properties)
