Guest
I have a mac backup set, within it there are folders with the "/" character in them. As most windows users know this character is an illegal character on the windows platform and Retrospect won't let me retrieve any of the files in this folder, it gives me a "malformed" something or other error. Is there any way around this?
lv2ski
Retrospect 5.5 for Windows may incorrectly report an error -1013 (malformed name) when trying to duplicate or restore a Macintosh file with an "illegal Windows Character" to an NTFS Windows volume running services for Macintosh. This problem is fixed with Retrospect 5.6 or later. To update your current version of Retrospect, please see: http://www.dantz.com/upgrades
