miketeel Posted August 25, 2005 Report Share Posted August 25, 2005 I have 5.0 Workgroup installed on a G4 OS 10.3 Server. I have a 5.0 client installed on my laptop. I did have a 6.0 client installed and running on the laptop but never backed up from it. I deleted the 6.0 client and the com.dantz.Retrospect.plist file. I reinstalled the 5.0 client. It asked for a password which I gave it. I restarted and attempted to log into the client from the server. I can not. I receive a error message "Can't login, error 507(incorrect password). Jacklibog Posted August 31, 2005 Report Share Posted August 31, 2005 Just installed OS X 10.3.9 and tested it with Retro 5.1. It seems to work fine, did a simple script and looked for a client, found it and added it. I could not run it under 10.3.5 which may indicate that Apple in its wisdom may have reset something that allowed Retro 5.1 to operate again. Am waiting for the bugs to be worked out of Retro 6 as well as compatibility issues with 10.4.2 before I take the cold plunge. Jack Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
