Error 24201

We are running Retrospect 4.0 on a beige G3 to backup our network. Recently, when we try to search catalog files, we get an error 24201. When we transfered those corrupt files to our Blue/White G3 running the same version of retrospect, the files are fine. Then we get different files on the blue/white that come up corrupt that aren't on the beige G3. Does anybody know what is going on or what to do about it?

We are running OS 8.6 on the beige and 9.2 on the blue/white. We have not run any disk utilities. We get the error when searching catalogs for files to restore. We use Retrospect to back-up our art department and server. We have tried rebuilding the catalogs. It seems to work, but takes 8-14 Hrs.

If rebuilding the catalogs works, and if this is happening often, then there is a problem with the disk they are stored on that is corrupting them. I'd recommend running any disk utilities that you have on the drive, including Drive Setup's Verify.
