Huntn
In the July 2004 MacWorld there is an article on Backing Up (p73). In that article it lists Retrospect as both a backup and synchronization program? Can Retrospect be used to synch files on 2 computers? I've looked through the documentation, but don't really see it. Or are there better programs for this purpose? I want to be able to control which way the synchs go, exclude certain files from synch, etc, all of the features you see in a synch program. Thanks! -Dave
amkassir
I'd like to know the answer to this as well. Currently, I use Synchronize! Pro by Qdea, which works well, for this purpose.
natew
Hi Retrospect is not really a synchronization program. You can use it to keep a backup disk in sync with the data on your hard drive but its not designed to track changes between two computers. Thanks Nate
