I need help backing up files and folders.

I would like to backup a select amount of folders and files from my main hard drive to an external firewire hard drive. Can someone please explain a simple way for me to do this. Thanks

You will need to create a new File backup set on your FW drive, as explained in the User's Guide. Then, if you haven't done so already, read the sections in the User's Guide about creating backup scripts, and about using selectors (in particular, how to create a custom selector).

 

If, after doing all of this, you run into problems, come back to the forum with a detailed description of your setup, what you're trying to do, and what problems you encountered.
