klucich
We recently updated from OS 9 to 10 and Retrospect up to 6.1.126. When I search my catalogs, I can find what I need and it tells me what tape to insert, but it then says "No tape storage devices found." Can anyone tell me what this means? Lennart_T
Hi. It means that Retrospect THINKS your tape device is powered off or disconnected. How is your tape device connected? SCSI? What SCSI card? Driver version? Firmware version? Note that there is NO support for Adaptec's SCSI cards after Mac OS 10.2. Tape device make, model and firmware? klucich
Can you tell me where I can find some of this info on the Mac? I used to know in 9, but not in 10. The drive is a Techmar DDS-3. Thanks, Kim

Did you use a SCSI cable or a Firewire cable or what? Regards Lennart
