oslomike
Will using an SSD drive increase the time it takes Retrospect to search catalogs and that sort of thing? Are SSD drives reliable enough to take on this task? Which ones are good with mac pros? Thanks in advance! mike
Lennart_T
1. No, the time Scanning an SSD volume will decrease. If you have the catalog file on an SSD, the Matching time will decrease. 2. Yes. 3. Just don't buy cheap. ADDITION: All SSD units have the 2.5 inch form factor. Make sure you get one with a 3.5 inch adapter for use in a Mac Pro. Edited August 15, 2012 by Lennart Thelander
