turkeyneck
I've just moved from Workgroup 5.1 to 6.0.193, creating a new set as required, in this particular case to DVD-R media. While Retro 6 created, executed and verified the members successfully, Finder (10.3.3) mounts every one as being named "Untitled" (rather than e.g. "1-Backup Set-A"). This wasn't the case under 5. What gives?
natew
Hi There is a plugin in 6.0 that allows the disks to be mounted in the finder. Removing that plugin will make retrospect behave as it did in 5.0 Nate
turkeyneck
That plug-in actually arrived in 5.1 (System/Library/Filesystems/retrospectcd.fs) and worked fine. Since doing the 6 upgrade, the disk icon still shows up in Finder, but the NAMEs are no longer associated with the disks. They're all named "Untitled." Retro IS naming them (at least internally), since it can correctly ID them by set and number. I was thinking that since I was still keeping Retro 5.1 around that that might be messing things up. But it shouldn't. Thanks for the reply. Bobby (turkeyneck) Gore
