richdean
I just upgraded from Mac Retrospect Express 5.0.238 to Mac 6.0 Desktop thru the Dantz web site (bought download). 6 is supposed to come with licenses for 2 additional network clients. I downloaded a version of Desktop for the PC 6.5, but the license I have doesn't work. How do I get a Windows version of Desktop and the right license code? Thanks, Rich
Mayoff
The 6.0 Mac software supports 2 computers via the Retrospect Client. It does not include a Retrospect 6.5 for Windows license. That is a totally different product.
richdean
Hrm. That's not what the product description says: http://www.dantz.com/en/products/mac_desktop/index.dtml "Designed for use in home and small offices, Retrospect Desktop provides protection for one local Apple Macintosh desktop or notebook and two other networked desktop or notebook running Macintosh, Microsoft Windows, or Red Hat Linux computers." So how does this work? There aren't any instructions in the manual that I could see. Rich
richdean
Oh, wait, I think I get it. I grab the Windows Client software and point it at the Mac...
