simonbqpr
Retrospect 8.2.0 (399) Mac Pro 10.6.8 OX Server Atto ExpressPCI UL5D latest driver Quantum SDLT 600 DC Tape Library I am having two issues 1) Scheduled backups to tape do not start and proactive backups to file do not start. Scheduled backups to file do work. I have to manually run scheduled scripts to tape and sometimes the engines crashes when running a tape script. 2) On the server the engine crashes frequently especially when moving are tapes around the library during a backup Here is a the information from the terminal when the engine crashes, I restart the engine from here. The GUI is running on a separate workstation. Any advice is appreciated xservemp:MacOS admin$ sudo ./RetroEngine Password: #2> Command line is ./RetroEngine DAGServer:RegisterProtocal Protocal(GUID=200)!#2> !Can't continue operation, Quantum Library, ID 0:5:1 has no empty slots available, error -118 ( no empty slots). #2> !Can't continue operation, Quantum Library, ID 0:5:1 has no empty slots available, error -118 ( no empty slots). #3> LmGet: ndex = 7699, zero offset Assertion failure at "elem.cpp-1138", on threadID 0x9C1C000 xservemp:MacOS admin$ sudo ./RetroEngine Password: #2> Command line is ./RetroEngine DAGServer:RegisterProtocal Protocal(GUID=200)!#3> LmGet: ndex = 7672, zero offset Assertion failure at "elem.cpp-1138", on threadID 0x880A000 xservemp:MacOS admin$ sudo ./RetroEngine Password: Sorry, try again. It's been ages but I think I ran into this once, leaving a slot open was my "bandaid" to make things run smoothly.
