137491E8FABE8DE1E040000A2A666149
I use Retrospect ver. 8.2.0 running on an xServe to backup 30 computers nightly, about half of the client computers default to "Off" after a restart, all of the clients are running 6.3.029, does anyone know of any way to set Retrospect Client to default to "On" after the computer is restarted. I've looked at both computers that work correctly and the ones that are off after a restart and I can't see any difference in the settings. They both also have RetroClient in the StartupItems folder in the Library folder.
Lennart_T
I have a faint memory that the solution is to uninstall the client software, restart the client computer and reinstall the client software. (Try on a few computers before doing all of them.)

If you look at the script in that RetroClient folder in your StartupItems folder, you'll see it contains a hard-coded path to the default location of the Retrospect.app bundle. If you've moved the application from where the installer put it (/Applications/Retrospect\ Client.app) the script will silently fail to load the unix process contained in the bundle.
