Error 1001 just started to happen

The computer is running XP Home and it is backing up to a Maxtor external hard drive (E:). I am trying to back up my C: drive to the maxtor drive.

 

I am using oem express 6.0.222

 

I have run defrag, disk cleanup and error checking

Here is my log

Hi Kal,

 

Typically when an error from the operating system is echoed to Retrospect you can find more pertinent information in the Windows event viewer. Right-click My Computer and select Manage. In the Event Viewer section of Computer Management, check the Application and System log for errors corresponding to the time your backup ran.

 

If a resolution is not readily apparent from those errors, please post the contents of those logs here.
