comlink
I have retrospect 7.5 using a 20/40GB tape drive. on a new tape i can do a full backup. if i erase a tape and do a full backup it gets to 21gb and asks for tape 2. I am only using 25 GB of hard drive and most files are not compressed files. Help
nekr0phage
Hi, If you're using hardware compression then the compression of data is handled by the tape drive, not Retrospect. In this case Retrospect will only be feeding data to the drive, and the drive will signal when it is unable to write more data to the tape.
