nekr0phage Posted May 19, 2006 Report Share Posted May 19, 2006 Hi, Retrospect is going to feed out data as quickly as it can recieve and process it. You might try staging your backups from source to disk backup set then transfer to tape backup set. This way you would get a consistent transfer rate going to tape as there is no lage via network.
