pcchicks
I installed the Trial version of 6.5 Multi-user for Windows. I have a Seagate DAT drive installed and Retrospect does not see the drive. Any suggestions? It is listed in my Device Hardware list in Windows. natew
Hi I assume this is a SCSI drive? Are there any other devices on the chain? What SCSI card are you using? Make sure to disable the Windows drivers in the device manager. Retrospect has its own drivers for the device. Thanks Nate
jetdog9
Hello, If your operating system is definitely seeing the tape device but it is not seen in Retrospect, Retrospect may not have recognition for your particular device. If, in the "Environment" tab of the "Storage Devices" window, you see anything that says "ARCHIVE", "SEAGATE", or "CERTANCE" for Vendor, what does it say for Product? -jetdog9
